Michael Koppelman

Michael Koppelman is a Minneapolis-based entrepreneur who formed Bitstream Underground, an alternative Internet Service Provider (ISP) in 1994 and Clockwork, a digital agency located in Minneapolis, in 2002. He is currently co-owner and Head Brewer at Badger Hill Brewing, a small, fast-growing craft brewery in Shakopee, Minnesota. He has degrees in music (Berklee College of Music) and astrophysics (University of Minnesota) and is a graduate of the American Brewers Guild. He was formerly a record producer and engineer for Prince at Paisley Park where he recorded and mixed Graffiti Bridge, Diamonds and Pearls andThe Love Symbol records. He also worked with Booker T and the MGs, Ingrid Chavez, frente, Moxy Früvous and more. He is married to fellow entrepreneur Cynthia Koppelman and has two children and a cat. He write songs, plays guitar and hacks technology in his spare time.
