A native of San Cristobal, Venezuela, Marvin Duran studied Graphic Design in this country. At age 19 he traveled to Paris to start working as a model in the agency Karin Men. During this short stage discovers his passion for creating clothing and meet the designer Libertan Louison, who allows him to be his apprentice, having an experience of 2 years in his Paris atelier.
In 2004 he traveled to Mexico where he began to make his first clothing “Marvin Duran”, successfully sold in various shops in Mexico City. Soon he is invited to take a stake Fashion Week Mexico where he met the young Mexican designer Quetzal Rangel who begins Marvin and Quetzal brand. Being creative directors and creating their own aesthetic, they presented his first collection at the Fashion Week Mexico, taking an immediate impact on the national and international fashion, and being considered from that time as one of the most important Mexican brands in the country.
In 2012 Marvin Duran presented his first collection autumn-winter 2012-2013 an event as part of the celebrations for the 60 years of Air France in Mexico. Currently, Marvin is launching his 2017 collection.
